He suffered from combat stress and was traumatized by scenes of death and destruction. Having served his country, Howard Dillaman was unable to live a normal life. Howard found himself at his lowest point when he was committed to a psychiatric facility where he was written off as a hopeless cause. One night in his darkest hour, however, he picked up a Gideons' Bible and made a promise to God, which started him on his road to healing and redemption.
