In her first book, Healing the Orphaned Heart: Restoring the Heart of a Child of God, Janet Helms described the effects of abandonment and rejection but also outlined a message and ministry of hope to those who have suffered their tragic effects. Now in her second book, Orphaned Heart Healing: Testimonies of God's Grace, Janet and her Orphaned Heart Ministries team share stories and testimonies from their work in East Africa that shed even more light on the power of prayer and biblical principles to heal the orphaned heart. These stories are sure to move and inspire you. They will also give you even more insight into the love of God that is able to set anyone free from whatever wounds or pain they may be carrying and that includes you and those closest to you.

About Janet Helms

In 2011, Janet Helms founded an organization called Orphaned Heart Ministries to bring the message of healing prayer for wounded hearts in Uganda. Since then, people and pastors in Rwanda, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, Congo, and Tanzania have attended her conferences and benefited from her ministry. Janet hosts training sessions in the United States and East Africa, and has established Hope Fellowships that are able to continue the work of inner healing after her conferences are held. Janet lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband, Worth, and is “mum” to one foster Ugandan daughter named Olive.
