Why do we react the way we do?
Why is change so difficult?
And why do some people recover from trauma while others remain trapped by it?
In Restoring Your Brain, Dr. Bernard Franklin combines personal experience with the latest discoveries in brain science to explain how the brain shapes our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Using clear language and practical examples, he shows how trauma affects the brain, why healthy relationships matter, and how lasting change is possible.
Whether you’re a parent, educator, coach, caregiver, or simply someone seeking a healthier life, this book will help you better understand yourself and those around you. More importantly, it will show you that your brain is not fixed. With the right support and healthy habits, healing, growth, and restoration are possible.
