Christy Grassman was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, and has lived in West Lafayette, Indiana, Madrid, New York City, Pittsburgh, and Southern California, where she now resides with her husband, Colin Grassman. 

Christy started her online dating vocation as a customer care representative at eHarmony when the company was in its prime. After averaging 98% to 100% customer satisfaction, she entered a specialized role as an eHarmony Advice article author, customer profile advisor, and one-on-one coach for site users. 

In 2012, Christy left eHarmony to launch Love Breakthrough in order to apply her online dating industry background, continuing research, and personal and professional experience to help prevent serious online daters from wasting time, energy, and pain. Her goal then and now is to help people connect more efficiently to potential online matches on various sites and apps.
